I got those textures, as I was a mod tester for Foley. Probably he will allow me to distribute them among the wiredforwar community.

My bird has an eye infection. Her eye is red near the beak and there seems to be puss coming out. my friend said that i should put warm water on it and it will be fine but i need to get a second opinion.

You sure you are posting in the adequate forum for this issue?

Anyway, you shouldn't do anything without consulting your veterinarian.

By the way, do you know that there are claims of evidence (scientifical) of Pyramids on Mars? And what do you think about the Nacza-lines? And cropcircles? Just loonetics or something more than that(beside our discussion here, just want to know what you think about it)?

There is also claimed to have evidence about real dragons being, Hitler having built UFOs and other shit. I have seen cropcircles once, but well, I knew where they came from. It was something like a tourist attraction, a "corn-labyrinth". I walked in there.

Nothing is suspicious, everything is normal.(Damn I feel so indoctrinated...)

Regarding my question: mark the 'worldwide' in my sentence. I meant the people around you, and... just everyone else on the planet. I, personally, wonder what it would mean to the USA, those sons'a bitches (governement) who hide every fact that could mean less profit to them and less control of the masses(which is another response to your statement).

That's exactly the problem this kind of life attitude comes with. You see, thinking as described above causes the thinker to become a person that focuses only on him/herself. Ignoring everything else but your personal concerns makes you blind for politics or probably other peoples problems(in case they are not part of your daily life).

Let me take a second try on your question:
Do you really think there will be no worldwide consequences at all if there would be revealed that there are actual aliens on our planet? :P

It depends on how well an alien or its "UFO" can be hidden. Governments will try to keep its population ignorant until they are sure how to introduce us about the new relevation. They would certainly try to copy any technology they could get in order to improve their weapon systems or to increase their influence among other states in another way. Supressing state secrets. In this case, there might already be "UFOs" on our planet without our knowledge, but not of our concern.

If a "UFO" has been spotted by too many individuals(who cannot be silenced) it cannot be hidden anymore. The major difference would be that not a few experts and specialists will discuss the extraterrestrials or examine them, but all the voices of whole world would speak. Most likely NOT in a harmonical way. There will be arguments and maybe fights or wars to decide what happens to the revelation(Ironically, the humans will automatically claim that this "UFO" is THEIR property). No state would ever give an advantageous technology to any state with which they are in conflict. There would be demonstrations against the misuse of the technology among the public(if it was that powerful). Following this line of thought, a "UFO" could cause a world-wide revolution or even a new world war.

If the "UFO" has no special or advantageous technologies for our scientists, earth's population will probably build a memorial or a museum dedicated to the first extraterrestrial transportation device that was found on earth. Well, in case that the persons who decide let us know about something like that. At any rate, I could quite imagine something like an "alien zoo" or "alien museum".

I would like to thank you for your positive reply and I am looking forward to provide this forum with more posts of similar quality. You'll probably find more of these when browsing the forum.

No, or if, it does not matter. 'Nuff said.

You actually thought about what you typed down? So you really think there will be no worldwide consequences at all if there would be revealed that there are actual aliens on our planet? :P

I usually think about everything I post in any forum, because these posts are nearly permanent unless I correct them. The reason I write something like this is that I simply don't see any relevance of "important news or facts" in our daily lives. For instance, we got many issues like nuclear bombs, war, global warming etc, which no one in a normal city would know of if there wasn't such a thing as television or internet. People talk about it. A lot. But can we be truly sure that such things exist? How do we know that ANYTHING exists besides us, the thinking individuals?

At this point, I wanted to mention that my point of view was probably influenced by my heavy consumption of video games, which suggest me that there are many different worlds which have no connection to each other. Other things that are not from the same world have no relevance in the world we are currently in. Having this thought in mind, I had my doubts about things we hear day to day in the news. You see, everything I see, hear, smell or what my other senses tell me could be a lie. Therefore, I am rather cautious with new information. To filter all this information I am confronted with(without ignoring anything I sense) I reduce everything to the little world I actually see.

My plan goes as follows: My experience has shown me that there certain rules to follow, like in a video game. If you do this, the consequence is that. To avoid bad consequences, I have to follow the rules and to adapt to the world around me. This is all the information I need. If there are other sources of information, like a television that claims that the rain forest is on fire, I am even less sure whether that happened, as there is a lot of propaganda swarming the public. In addition to that, what does it bother me? I am doing my things, I do them the right way and I feel fine. All rules have been followed, the life is a success.

To come back to topic, the information that another form of life has been found is of no interest to as long I do not have to face such an alien and to interact with it. It is no part of the world that I think I live in. Besides, I am no trophy hunter. I focus on the world around me and the time which is called "now", spend nearly no time with speculations about things that are not compatible with my repertoire of actions or reactions.

So in that case, enjoy your alien and fuck off with your "great news".(No insult implied)

I hope you were able to understand why some things don't bother me. I am outta here.

Ok i'll come, remember the ip adresses though. Here's mine:

That's your LAN IP. If we would try to connect using this number, we would be getting nowhere. If you are using hamachi for your game look up your IP there.

First suggestion:
  • Backup savegames
  • Re-apply XP patch
  • If that does not work, reinstallation of the game
  • Try installing the game in another location

What exactly is this error sound? Normally, error sounds come with error message boxes which tell you what the problem is. At any rate, I thought that you, being a member on this forum for so long, should know about the frequently occuring problems with the game and about the methods how to get rid of them.

He is. Have a second look. Anyway... this company does not offer to much information about itself. I would not trust them.  Even if this email was real, I do not see any benefits in collaboration with them. Such a company won't pay us no money. By the way, the link "About us" is a 404.

Anyway we should skip talking about this company, because talking about them is nearly as bad as advertising for them.
