The Gameplay

The gameplay of Machines I thought was ver awesome because it was the first RTS that you could actually go into first person view with one of your units. When I figured that out on the demo I flipped out and loved it even more after that. I havent played it in years and cant wait to get Machineing again = P

Everyone says this, and I couldn't agree more.

The first person view on Machines is definately one of my most favorite parts of the game.  (other than carrying green to victory).  However, I dont know if its just me but I when I'm in first person view mode and shoot at something, I can't see the bullets.  Is this the same for everyone? :? .....anyways just wanted to put some input on the whole first person mode....

I'll have to play it again to see if that happens with me..

Has anyone played Homeworld?  I always wished I could pilot the ships in that game like you could in Machines.  It provides a really nice break from the RTS micromanagement.

Homeworld = Amazing.

There are plenty of ways to screw up a fully 3D commander system, but they managed to make one that was intuitive, fast, and worked.

I still have my original Machines disks and manual....
