Spies place very powerful landmines and when you drive one in the enemy laboratory you'll posses his researches and you won't have to research them in your lab

i love driving them into labs, but what i dont get is when are you ever going to be able to? labs are almost always protected at back of the base and if you manage to get to it, they'll blow it. anybody got a good way to use them?

I have noticed that spies can become very useful in skirmish games, but only in games in which the Tech-Level is very low.

As you can see in the research tree that can be downloaded with sloiks client, there are 2 main research paths for military machines:

1st, the Bolter/Autocannon/Rocket-Path(includes Judas Warlord and Gorilla),
2nd, the Disruptor/Plasma/Impulse-Path(includes Eradicator and BeeBomber)

AI controllers research both military research paths, the Bolter/Autocannon/Rocket-Path as well as the Disruptor/Plasma/Impulse-Path. As a rationally thinking human, who prefers huge armies of Wraith Reapers with Plasmarifles with assistance of Knights with Plasmacannons, i do only follow the second research path. This gives me 2 advantages:

1st, You can attack with high-tech machines earlier than the AI, what makes it totally easy to overwhelm AI-built bases.
2nd, You can steal their research by sparing their laboratories with your spies in order to get process on the first military research path.

I would not use them in the campaign, because there is an research limit for every map that does not allow me to develop my tech-level up to maximum. In addition to that, the enemy has map advantages and more buildings at the start of the map, what makes thinking of stealing research information senseless as you have to care abput your own base.
Looking for downloads all around Machines? Try the download section and report any suggestions for it to me.

They also make for funny games when playing with a friend.
Play 'see how long it takes to find the traitor'. lol  :cowbell:

On multiplayere games, you can camouflage the spy, and it will look like an enemy unit.
Have you checked out any of my mods?
-If not, it's probably because I haven't uploaded any.

It is very fast, places mines, requires a garrison to regain mines (will automatically regain mines when refill button is clicked), steals technology when inside an enemy research facility, can camouflage when in multiplayer, and pwns others with it's awesome looking hull.

You spelled multiplayer wrong...
