[Obligatory post saying "It's not entirely dead yet." goes here]

in order to create the illusion of activity, and possibly therefore create more activity through illusion and guilt, I must make the comment that we are still almost dead, but our heart rate seems to be slowly increasing (the good way). Also I went to AminKAMSC (the blender machines vids channel) and one of the vids had rickroll'd as a suggested "related" video.  :lolhammer:

Like kicking a corpse...but suddenly it comes back to life! We are on the rise! 8-)
More than feeling lies out yonder, take care watch your step and hold on for dear life...the Machines are on the rampage

I'm sorry to burst your bubble and criticize your inspirational quote there, but, truth be told, this forum used to be thriving and active. I mean, how many members from the days of prosperity are still left here? I admit, I have been gone for a while, too, but I come check now and then again. And yes, I agree with you that we are not completely 'dead' yet, but... how long is this going to stay afloat? What if tomorrow, Apex (forum admin and bandwith hoster) decides that it's time for WFW to die a silent dead and stops paying for the hosting (which is, as stated above, not completely inunderstandable, sadly)?

Boom, all gone. Gone is the forum. Gone are our ideas. Gone... Is the legacy...

Aah, well, there are always free hosting forums... Maybe... We should move there?... Before we're out of time...

Lastly, I have to say Machines is one of the only things in this world I am (still) really interested in... Not just because of the revolutionary way the game pulled us in and not just because it statisfied my need to play games (hell, I could've just play Warhammer whole days and just forget about Machines entirely) but also, and mostly, because there's such a... 'spiritual aura' around the game. I mean, it connects us. Why's this forum here in the first place? Look at it. There's only a select few of all the people who were a kid back then (and even if they had the honor of having/playing Machines back then, they're not here right now). You all know what I'm talking about. There's still something big to be made out of this underrated and forgotten masterpiece. Besides, they don't make the Reapers as badass anymore ;)

Don't let it go to waste.

Amen.

Also, Sansari: nice work. Keep it up!

Remember when being a Wrath Reaper was badass? Those were the days. . .

Haven't seen you in a while, but then again my memory is being curb stomped these days...
Anyway, in the event of a forum closing, someone can erect a sourceforge page (assuming it's possible; gotta look up requirements) for Machines 2, but under a different name, like rewired. I hope the forums don't close though...
Also, I tend to think this is now a gathering place mainly for the slow development of Machines 2, so I think the forums will just evolve when they are reborn, like as if the egg came first :D
