Made by gas powered games, which recently made an rts game that is called supreme commander. One of the best RTS's, but not as good as Machines.

The trailer is allways the best part of a game

Machines: Galactic Warfare

Machines: The return (of the humans)

Machines: The fall of the empire

Machines: Locked and Loaded

Machines: Rewired for war xD

The tagline could be...

100% Mechanized warfare

In Man against Machine, the unknown will conquer all.

And just when you thought it was over... SUMMER 2010, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! xD (that actually doesn't sound so bad for a joke)

Uhm, Machines 2: 3323?

and it isn't 100% mechanized warfare

Unknown = Bioorganic things
Human = Living units

And it isn't Man VS Machines :P

I meant for the Machines xD And it wasn't a really serious atempt by all means...

In Machine against the unknown, humans will conquer all?

Machines II: Deus ex Machina
Machines II: Destination - Warfare
Machines II: Harmony and Chaos.

My 2 cents.

I agree with Deus ex Machina. It means "God from the Machine". The "Machines 2/II:" is a little cliche in my opinion. Latin for the win.
"It is the rule in war, if our forces are ten to the enemy's one, to surround him; if five to one, to attack him; if twice as numerous, to divide our army into two."    -Sun Tzu, The Art of War

You reject and idea because it is cliché and then with the other hand promote using Latin in the title :P Latin is possibly the most overused and cliché use of a second language in a title out there xD

The point with using 2 or II is because it works. It gets the message accross simply and clearly - this is the sequel to Machines. Also, about using god from the machine, the story really isn't solely about the machines, and there is no god involved :/

Not to mention that Deus ex Machina actually means "Ghost in the Machine", and is an over-used plot device in crap straight-to-video movies.

I still have my original Machines disks and manual....

Yea we should call it like M2:Virus and make it a superawesome jumper item collecting platformer taking place entirely within a circuit board with extra green colours to combat the scary virus that's like destroying everything. .  .

No not M2:virus, what are you thinking D=

A simple Machines 2 would be fine. Think of all the great games' sequels. Was HL2 called Half-Life 2: The combine attack? Was that other one . .. er. .  .

I'll leave YOU to think of the others!

Actually, I like

Machines II: Armageddon.

Sets up nicely for M3: Apocalypse

Name three games with the subtitle Armageddon.

Not counting games that were budget sequals that tried to scrape by on the success of the original.

well first of all there was a movie (maybe more) called armageddon, and one called apocalypse. There was carmageddon which counts, worms armageddon, mortal kombat armageddon, spawn armageddon, I think heroes of might and magic had armageddon somewhere in one of their game titles (maybe an expansion)

anyway your point to disclude lame sequels and stuff just makes it more obvious we shouldn't use that :/ it such a typical catch word for after the title of a game and it makes it seem cheap and tacked on. Also it only relates to the game or gameplay in a very general way that could be applied to anything. Aftermath would be more appropriate. To me 'armageddon' symbolises the final conflict between like, good and evil or whatever, and I thought we decided the unknown would not be completely destroyed.

Spawn Armageddon? Never heard of it. Carmageddon notwithstanding, that only leaves 2.
And your "Final Conflict" thing fits "Apocalypse" more than Armageddon.

Point taken though. I just think we should include Armageddon somewhere in the game - perhaps instead of Deathmatch mode (you know, the one where everyone starts with lotsa resources and researches and builds quickly? Call it Armageddon Mode instead)
