Don't tell me everyone around here is also an expert in microprocessor architecture as well as 3D modelling, programming, Linux, 2D image manipulation, etc.?  :-o
No... I just read loads of CPU reviews these days, coz I don't know if I should buy a 2 or 4 core CPU. :|

Look, it is simple. Just find the ones with big numbers next to them and you have a good chip. ie Intel 99 GHz 128 core chip with blah, cost $$$$$$$$$//Lots of euros. (Sadly I don't have the symbol on my keyboard.)
