yeah sort of CMD.exe is the Windows NT version of the old DOS shell.

So in there you can use all the old DOS commands that we used to know and love:

d: (change to d drive)
CD (change directory)
e.g:

cd "D:\Program files\Acclaim Entertainment\machines"
then metaex commands...

Hope this helps

etaex ?mi mach1.met
(Answer should be 362).

To list the contents of a metafile:

Metaex ?mi mach1.met ?l mach1.met.txt

Extract metafile:

Metaex ?mi mach1.met ?e *

Recreate the metafile once you?ve made modifications to data files:

Metaex ?mo mymeta.met ?l mach1.met.txt

is the l  a i or an L
Quote
?mi mach1.met ?l mach1.met.txt
