I crossed it out since they have netwrok as syncronizing 100+ Players, while we will only need it for syncronising a maximum of 16 Players(probably even less, 8 or so) making it far and far less hard to achieve. They need people to take care of the servers, connections, synchronized files and crap, we don't :D
(That's why a RTS is so much cooler than a MMORPG)

I think the rules they meant here is the balance, they have to decide if a weapon can shoot once a minute and does 600 damage, or if it shoots once every ten seconds, doing 60 damage, or every second doing 6 damage(Wait, that doesn't make sense...) xD Anyway, the site is yours, so if you want Daemien as a rules leader you should ask him ;)

I can take care of automatic updates (if that's what you mean by synchronized files) and servers.

Nah, I meant 100 players that all have their own player files and that they have to be displayed correctly to other users blablabla ;) But still, it's a good idea to have auto-updates and stuff :P

Sorry for reviving a dead topic... Also, we probably can't help with Machines 2 parce que we have almost no experience with programming, 3D design, 2D design, or just about anything else. I'm pretty good at 1D design though. Watch:

That's very professional 3D-design you have there. Feel free to remake the Machines models if you want to. Check out previous similar work here. And about the new design... just start creating new things if you want. I do not think we have already agreed on a new specific look for new units so it is still quite open how they will look like.
Looking for downloads all around Machines? Try the download section and report any suggestions for it to me.
