Yes I'm reviving a three year old post, but the problem is I think nobody knows how to use ogre. (Am I wrong?)
C++ is a good idea in my opinion.

I played a game made with Ogre language. It was called Motorm4x and it was a fantastic racing game with really nice graphics and details. :) Unfortunately it wasn't the RTS.

In which famous game can I find the UDK?

I think Unreal Tournament 3 was the best UDK game. (Not in my opinion because I have not tried many unreal games.)

Unreal tournament 3 is the showcase game of unreal engine 3, for which the udk is made. However, now I think I want to start off with spring engine and make an alpha, and just use it as an example if it's not possible to make the full game.
