Sorry, but the network I'm on right now doesn't allow torrenting. :(

I can't do it from home either, my connection is pretty much all the time connected through my university's VPN service (and even if I disconnect and use my own ISP's network, I'll bet they block those ports too). :l

And I can't even do it when on the road and tethering my phone to my computer, because my cell service provider doesn't allow it either. :o

And you're still alive? =O

Sorry, I don't understand.
Are you joking or something?

I have a mental 'affliction' (lack of a better word, sorry) called Aspergers Syndrome which makes it hard to understand the nuances of communication, at most things like jokes, sarcasm, and others.
The problem is compounded when communication through the Internet is done, because that information isn't available at all since we're not actually speaking (no inflections or anything, of course).

I tried to see what way (I mean, like you were joking with me, or you were being sarcastic or something else) I thought you were typing that comment, but I couldn't find a correct way to see that as.

He's implying that bittorrent is as important as food, in that when you don't have it, you die. This is because it's very useful with downloads, especially illegal. I don't use it that much, but I guess VOTS does.

Seeing it explained, it makes it a lot easier to understand it.

I *can* learn sarcasm, jokes and other things like that, but it will never come naturally to me. Unlike you (hopefully), I can't 'read' people. I can't understand just from seeing expressions and other social cues, at least not at first (having it explained when I ask questions will help).

It's hard to express to you exactly what I'm talking about, whether it's with text or not (words are infinitely harder, I hardly can articulate exactly what it is like).
Here's a link that can express this much better than I can: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/UsefulNotes/AspergerSyndrome?from=Main.AspergerSyndrome

If you want, you can read it, if not you may ignore the link, if you want to.

... Woa, man, I (naturally) didn't know this... I'll take it into account next time I'll try to (playfully) pwn you.
As for reading people... Well, this is a forum, everyone reads each otherall the time! (;D)
But, no, seriously, I ain't no pro in that, as well, mate ;)

I download the internet, man!
Without me, every torrent (every single one) wouldn't 've been gaining the speeds they have now!... Hell, without me, torrents would've died out a long time ago! I am Mr Torrent himself!! (don't tell :cop:, though...)

EDIT: 0.0 %. And no speed at all. Just as I thought. For those reading this: could you please help up this torrent's speed by downloading, as well?

This is really the problem with distributed downloading of Machines.  Torrents rely on the availability and dedication of seeders, which tend to be sparse just as the forum activity... otherwise I would've chosen peer to peer distribution as the propagation method of the MDS.

Originally the plan was to allow disc image downloads to the more senior members, however that functionality was never implemented.

Exactly where I'm trying to get at.

I thought eventually you would allow people (idiots) to be able to download Machines via the original torrent? =P
