Gameplay slower than usual?

When I'm playing machines on my computer every machine movement seems slower than I remember and I looked at some youtube videos to confirm this. The vortex cannon animation is a lot slower than the sound and it takes a very long time for it to finish its animation. Is this because i'm using the downloaded version provided here/magic disk rather than the actual CDs? I mean it's playable but it still kinda of slows gameplay and gets annoying sometimes. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

I was having the same issue until I installed older graphic drivers. Now it runs smoothly :)

If you don't know how to download those, tell me what's your: OS, 32bit?, graphic card model, origin.

Haven't been on this computer in like 2 years but let's see. It's Windows Vista 64 bit, and i think the graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT. Not sure what you mean by origin but I think that's it!

I have GeForce 8...500GT or so, and I haven't had to roll back drivers yet... But, then again, I never had the issue that you have =P

im running on Geforce GT220 and the game runs fine...60fps

I actually have the same graphics card radical, but the only problem I ever saw was that a few minutes in EVERYTHING GOES BLANK YELLOW, but everything else is fine  :-o

By the way, just how old should the drivers be to work better?

I made it myself after 6 hours of frustration that 'orb of treachery' is hardcoded with sentinel's 'multi launcher'!
But, I changed 'electricity' with 'virus' and saw how it looks like. It's just an orange version of electricity.

If you need more 'mysteries' open 'deswar.scn' from the 'mach1.met' file.

OK, I have to go now - I'm leaving for some days, don't mess this forum up while I'm off-line ;)
