I know right, it is kind of...unsettling. Apex- has to do something to stop this. I will probably start limiting my posts everywhere except for the respected member's section because of this  :sadd:.

The website says that they have been doing that since 2007 :O

Guys, this website is public already. Nothing changed except that more people are likely to read this than we initially thought.

Oh, and god forbid that someone benefit from the time I took. I wouldn't ever want someone to have an easier time if he wanted to make something in wings3d -like, say, a simple car- and decided to use my file as a starting point. If that happened, I'd have to gun him down.

But why would they be watching us? I mean, if people wanted to know about this site (let alone; Machines), why would they not come here right away(I figure this site is ranked before that Chinese one in Google's results, anyway... At least, if you Google 'Machines Wired for War' or similar...)? And why would Apex 'have something to do with it'?  I think it's just one of those sites that summarizes general data from other sites, like visitorns, ranking and the like (God knows why... commercial goals?). I think that just about every site is being 'tracked', too.

I think it's just a site that you can use like twitter. It's definitely easier to see all the latest posts on that site than on here, where I have to load up each page instead of just one. It's like an rss feed built into a webpage.
