Ok... so... no more reapers... got it... the centaur project would be cancelled? (maybe later but not today  8-) ) and a new scout, preferably of midium or small size, compact, but still agile? Mmmm... that sounds like a challenge to me  :holy: Oh yeah, OK, I'll do it!!!  :eng101: but first, I need VERY specific details, specs, you know, something from which I can take hold. Write the problems of the scouts, the needs of the controller in order to get cool, efficient and obviously, badass scouts. So, just throw out specs, amount of legs, type of weaponry, etc.  (such as:

Yeah. Reapers already have four legs, and the ones Kameok proposed seemed more like a scouting variant. (Those reverse-jointed legs look fast!)

I wouldn't mind a higher-tier scouting unit, though, especially considering fog of war. Something with an inbuilt scanner (higher sight range) and a faster speed would be SO. DAMNED. USEFUL. for scouting ahead of a larger force.
)

Oh, and one more thing... I am having some important exams in the next 4 weeks or so, so my "contributions" to the forum could decrease during the next month or 2, so, just have patience, that's all  :-)

Ok. Of course, you don't need to ask for any specifics, but I will say, a scout with long legs would most likely not be added into the game. We also probably would not add any more generations of a Reaper. Just keep in mind that when you come up with an idea and want it to be added, it should fit in with other machines, and the idea should fit the kind of class you specify, unless you do not specify a class. (They're cool enough) Keep the ideas coming if you like. They're pretty interesting.  8-)

This also wasn't supposed to be criticism, if you took it that way. Just a heads up.

Hey, I made new concept designs, just sketches. The idea of having a new scout or grunt made me think about the crab's body structure, similar to the one of the locator  :eng101: .These are just attempts to get a certain shape, the guns aren't necessarily important at this stage, I just tried to do something functional. It's movement isn't sideways as the one of a crab or the locator , unless it is under attack and needs to avoid some shots :holy: .

I like that crab soldier. It looks like a scavenger, but with weapons. The missile launchers are probably the best bet for one, whereas the machine guns look awkward, and it just makes him a short wraith reaper :-P
Also, I confirm that automatic can't draw :lolhammer:
