Merge is compromise. we have to see what each party would give up, but before that we need to see if this merge becomes more than a suggestion.
Entire communities are hard to merge; much harder than corporations. Example: there will always be people playing counterstrike 1.6 and original dota allstars. The sequel makers couldn't force the communities to move to the next games in unison. They just didn't want to play a different game, not even a sequel.
As slow (lazy) as we are in making openmachines, it's probably better that our wfw community stays together improving our game, rather than making someone else's game, with our consolation and support.
