Guide for new gamers
« on: June 10, 2007, 12:03:40 am »
Just an idea... What about a guide for new Machines gamers? Detailed instructions, keyboard shortcuts, tips and so on. I haven't played the game in 7 or 8 years and when I finally have the ability to play ;) I know I could use something like this.
Any thoughts?

The full version of the game included a Quick Reference Card detailing keyboard shortcuts etc.

If you search around, I'm pretty sure someone posted a scan of it recently.

I still have my original Machines disks and manual....

You have two Hot-key things. One is a Hot-key Meny ingame. The other is a paper card that came with the Machines Discs.

Well a guide to help new members sounds good I could surely use it.
Line in Nature is not found. Unit and Universe are round. In Vain produced, all rays return. Evil will bless and Ice will Burn

Better to Conquer yourself than win a thousand Battles.Victory is yours. It can not be taken by Demons or Angles. Heaven or Hell.

there is a small guide in the game, as everone knows, and it continues throughout the scenarios.

if you follow that, you can learn how to play easily!

let people play the first scenarios for awhile, to get the feel of it.

i always find trudging through the manual a tad annoying. it takes time, which you could be using for playing this  :holy: awesome games!
